Can Occupational Therapy help in Picky Eating?
âI donât want to eat this.â âI am full.â âEww! This looks and smells funny; I donât want to...
This journey began with a simple yet profound conversation with my colleague about the future of children with special needs. As we delved deeper, we found a significant gap in support for young adults facing multiple disabilities. This realisation ignited my passion for creating a holistic, easily accessible rehabilitation platform that empowers individuals, their families and advocates for their integration into society with dignity and abundant opportunities.
At Kikstart Rehabilitation, we are a passionate and dedicated team of rehabilitation professionals, individuals with lived experiences and change-makers on a mission to transform lives. We offer personalised intervention programs for people with In(visible) disabilities. We believe every individual deserves the opportunity to lead a fulfilling and independent life.
At Kikstart, we understand that each individual has unique strengths and challenges.
Our Surveys, discussions with many professionals, and studying lived experiences helped us to understand the lack of professional support for adults and children (and their families) with In(visible) disabilities, specifically lifeskills and mental health.
Our vision is to empower the lives of individuals with disabilities and seamlessly integrate them into society.
We recognise that creating lasting change requires a collective effort. That's why we actively collaborate with NGOs, social enterprises, corporations, and individuals who share our vision. By pooling our resources, knowledge, lived experiences, and networks, we amplify our impact and extend our reach to those who need it most.
Together, we can make a difference, one life at a time.
Whether you’re an individual seeking support, a partner organization, or someone who shares our passion, we invite you to be a part of our community and help us build a more inclusive and equitable world.
